Picked up the Nexus 7 this afternoon. Must say it is a pretty sweet bit of kit. Although the Android operating environment is all a bit strange after using iOS for so long. Look forward to getting Skim It! running :)
With Skim It! on iOS reaching the final stages of development, it is time for us to start branching out to other eco systems. So after a bit of research on the Net, decided to place an order for a shiny new Android device. Went for the Asus Nexus 7, look forward to picking it up on Sunday :)
Despite the weather trying it’s best to stop us, we battled through the snow and ice to arrive in our new office. Free filter coffee and welcome Kit Kat in hand we unpacked all our equipment and supplies. After a few technical hiccups with the broadband connection, we are now fully operational. Take a look at the pics below.

Met up with a few guys from the local app scene last night. All of them working on games of some kind or another. Was great to see what other teams are working on, some really polished and exciting apps, look forward to seeing them released. We will definitely be meeting up with the guys again.
Good day yesterday with loads of really positive feedback from the launch of the website. The news spread very quickly via Twitter and Facebook, thanks for all the comments and likes, and thanks to all the gaming websites that help spread the gamesindustry.biz article around.
What better way to start the New Year then announce the launch of our new development studio – Flippin Pixels!
We are a team of like-minded, focussed video game professionals who decided that it was time to combine our skills, experience and talent to start our own venture and so Flippin Pixels was born.
The team are hard at work at the moment on a couple of projects, details of which we’ll share soon but in the meantime keep checking back here for updates/rants/musings and some general insight into the minds that make up Flippin Pixels.
